Tableau Zen Master Jeopardy
A few weeks before TC18, I got the idea of creating a Jeopardy game in Tableau and figured why not use the current Zen Masters. I learned that this viz would be quite challenging. It would require dozens of parameters, calculations, dashboards/worksheets, and buttons that “disappeared” after use.
All told it took the following:
· 35 parameters
· 65 calculations
· 139 dashboards and worksheets
· 60 dashboard actions
Ken Flerlage also provided a nice tip that allowed me to make the dollar values “disappear” after they had been click (which was very key to this viz).
Ultimately, it was a ton of fun to create and a heck of a lot of fun to play with. Check out my Tableau Zen Master Jeopardy viz.
