New Viz: Jerry Seinfeld's Girlfriends

 

Back in July, I posted a viz about my favorite show ever, Seinfeld.  In that viz, I explored the most commonly recurring characters on the show.  If you haven't seen it, I hope you will check it out.

In reality, this isn't what I was expecting to visualize.  For a long time, I've wanted to visualize all the women that Jerry dated in the show.  The reason I wanted to do this is that so many of them went on to become huge stars (and some were already big stars).  I've tried building this viz off and on for four years, but could never find something that worked.  Yada yada yada, I found a good way.  It's a timeline with just a bit of data, but for me, it was a fun jog down memory lane.  Note that it's 20,000 pixels tall...I had to hack the xml to make it big enough for all the data :)
